Engagement ring upgrade?

Me and my husband have been talking about upgrading my engagement ring. Part of me feels bad even though he says he doesn’t care and to do it, but I also don’t have the ring he proposed with because my stones fell out a week after getting engaged and we had to exchange it for something different. Part of me is sad about getting rid of my old rings because it is the one I had on actual wedding day. Have y’all upgraded? And if so did you feel a little sad about getting rid of first (or second in my case) ring? Post pictures of original and upgrade!
