THE HOSPITAL THINKS IM DUMB?! (Long/TMI)

Okay so a few weeks ago I was 27w and I had a bunch of blood, so I called my dr she said go to L&D; @ the hospital where she works. They hooked me up and monitored contractions and the heart rate and had me pee in a cup. Then said everything was fine and sent me home. Okay whatever. Ohh I forgot to mention, I'm 18 and I feel like I get treated differently than a pregnant woman that was older than me. Okay so fast forward to yesterday morning. I felt the need to go poop so I went to the bathroom and I had blood everywhere!! Dripping in the toilet and all! Bright blood. 10x more than when I went a few weeks ago.

So I call her she says go into l&d; so I do. And they do the exact same thing!! NOTHING! Don't check my cervix , no ultrasound, NOTHING. Just have me pee and say I'm fine. She said it could've been hemmroids or from my booty hole from pooping. UHH MAAM IK WHAT HOLE IS WHAT!! Blood was coming and dripping out of my vagina. I'm just annoyed and fed up with them acting like I don't know what I'm taking about and not believing me. So they sent me home and here I am.

make an app with your ob or go to a different hospital. that isn't normal.

your allowed to say you're not bayou with the answer.  tell them they need to check on the baby and they need to make sure you're cervix is fine.  going to a different hospital may not help. most ER'S will say you need to see your OB for anything while your pregnant and unless your in a life or death situation they may not treat you

Are you still feeling movement? Please call your OB. That much blood could be a placental abruption

Omg when I went into labor the morning of I was dropping blood I called an ambulance I was passed my due date though but still very scary experience I actually called 911 I was so scared I arrived by ambulance and got checked but I was in labor that’s crazy that they don’t check your cervix if your bleeding call your doctor go back insist they check you it isn’t worth the risk of your baby

I'd request them to check your cervix- I was 16 when I had my first and am 20 now having my second, if you actually go in and tell them what you want and are more assertive they tend to listen more (literally what I've picked up through terrible pre and post natal care)

Go somewhere else and find someone to treat you and take you seriously. I’m 23 and went through the same stuff. Nobody took me seriously. Finally they did when I told them my baby had quit moving and it was almost too late.

go someplace else asap. It's probably nothing, but it's best to be sure.
