Co Ed baby shower?

Question

I didn't really "invite" the men, but I want my husband at the baby shower, so the invitation says it's honoring both of us. I know some people will bring their husbands/boyfriends, so I was just wondering if anyone else had a coed baby shower and it worked out well? I just don't want it to be awkward/weird for the men. I also don't know what games you'd play where men could be involved, too? I just want everything to go smoothly 😌

I am usually very old-fashioned, but I think it's totally normal to have co-ed baby showers. My brother & his wife did it for both of my nephews' baby showers, and every one was fine.. it didn't really feel any different to me. Also, for our baby shower, we will be inviting every one that we want there, including the men in our families.

All baby showers in our friend group are always coed. I prefer it that way because it is much more fun having all of our friends getting together for a party. I personally can't stand going to women only showers and playing baby games, but that is just me.

My husband and a few men who came with their wives from both our families were there. They played the games just like the women and they mostly cared about the food haha everyone had a really great time and my husband was beyond thrilled to have been there celebrating our babies with everyone.

Ours was completely co-ed, and hosted at a brewery! 😂 it was great! We just made the games fun for everyone... well, we only did one (we had a list of stories from our childhoods and they had to guess who did it, me or hubby). It was mostly social time, eat, game, watch us open gifts, the end. Perfect for me.

We had a coed shower with my son and it was great! We just put family bbq on the invitation and everyone had a great time. We had everyone cut a piece of streamer (or toilet paper) to show how big around they thought I was, and then we had some guessing games (like how many pieces of candy is in a baby bottle). Simple games, but it was fun.

My husband and I did a co ed baby shower for our daughter and it went amazing! We played games, the men drank beer and we opened presents. it was the last time we would see all of our family together before the baby so that's why we chose co ed. I highly recommend it!

Our friends did co-ed baby showers with kids involved and it was a lot of fun. There was also a pool at one so that kept everyone busy. A lot of the games still work. Baby food guessing, toilet paper roll on the plunger, finding safety pins in rice.... One even had guys stick a balloon under their shirts and they had to tie their shoes without popping or losing their ballon. That was great to watch.
