How do I tandem breastfeed with a greedy toddler?

Okay, so maybe she's needy, not greedy.   Either way, she has no interest in weaning yet, and I am not sure how to explain to an almost-2-year-old that the new baby is going to feed first and more often that she can.  I made plenty for her as an infant, plus more, but I am concerned that she will try to feed like an infant again when I have that much milk again and I'm not sure how to handle it.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of specific information about tandem nursing in general. I know a lot of people find it weird, but I don't want to force my first to stop nursing just because of a sibling.

I’ve tandem nursed twice. Honestly both times my toddler understood and milk regulated well to cover both of them. I generally nurse one side per feeding. If they both wanted to nurse at the same time I’d nurse the newborn on the side that was up next. Latch them first then let the toddler latch on the other side. When they nursed together it was such a sweet bonding time. I really think it’s why I never dealt with issues bringing a new baby into the family.  LLLI has great tandem info. They were really helpful to me. Oh! I also found that the toddler could help with engorgement and overproduction. It really worked out well for me.

My oldest was 16 months when my second was born, and he said the milk “was bad” in the first few days, and then didn’t want to nurse at all. I’ve heard that’s common, older babies and toddlers don’t like the change to newborn milk and wean on their own.
