Things are rocky right now because my wife went through my phone while I was asleep and found some texts she didn't like. She read through all of the texts between me and the other girl I'm talking to. She also read texts exchanged with a friend of mine that were about the girl I'm seeing. Up until now, though it was a little weird finding our footing at first, we've been handling this new transition kinda well. My wife knows the girl, we've all hung out before, hell we are sharing a hotel room next week. I'm not really going to make a stink about her going through my phone because that feels a lot less important than the fact that now she's upset. I dont know what to do. She said she didnt realize how much I like this other girl. This is our first go at being open and it feels like it's imploding. I'm afraid I'm going to have to end the relationship with the other girl. Obviously, my wife comes first, if that's what she needs me to do then that's what I'll be doing. Ending things is going to be really hard. How has anyone else handled something like this? Do I just end it? Do we work through it some other way? No touching each other's phones? I really need some help.
