Ultrasound

I'm having a transvaginal ultrasound today to check my ovarian cysts. But I have also had both positive and negative pregnancy test results, so they gave me a blood test and ultrasound script but have not done yet blood test yet.. so my question is if they are checking my ovaries is it possible to miss a pregnancy? That's my main concern is checking for the baby
