Expecting 2nd baby, suggestions needed

I’ve been told not to try any transitions too close to my EDD of 4/26/18 with my almost 2 year old, and also not to make two major changes at once. He’s in a crib but starting to pull himself up on the sides so I’m wondering if I should transition to a toddler bed (his crib converts to one). On the other hand, he’s also poked around in his diaper a couple of times recently and I’ve wondered about starting potty training.

While I don’t think it’s a good idea to do both prior to having the baby, I think I should do one or the other and was hoping for input/suggestions. Oh, and I don’t need the crib for the new baby, btw, so that’s not a factor. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!
