Did you have your membranes swept?

I'm 26w plus 2 and was talking to my midwife yesterday about the steps we are going to take to try and help me deliver by my due date. I'm trying for a Vbac and its more likely to happen if I'm not overdue. I'm interested in your experiences with natural induction methods.

I had it done yesterday at 39 weeks im 3cm 90% effaced already. Did not hurt as bad as other say but everyone is different and my cervix is very thin and open already so that could've been why. I've had almost regular contractions since and pressure but not sure if it's just from the sweep or if im actually going to be going into labor.. Stopped for a bit in the morning then came back when I got out of bed so im assuming it's just the sweep getting things ready? Wait for at least 36 or 37 weeks to get it done which im sure your dr will but just a heads up :) and Id like to hear other girls stories on how they felt after the sweep because Id like to know if I should go to the hospital or not since I haven't had contractions that painful until now! I think my doctor did it with my son.....didn't help, but what exactly do they do?

I had it done yesterday at 2PM {against my wishes😒} and here I am at noon with not a single contraction to speak of lol
