Chemical pregnancy?

I’m so confused right now! On Tuesday afternoon (10dpo) I got a faint positive on a FRER which I was beyond excited about. The next morning I tested again expecting the line to be a little bit darker. But it was negative! I’ve since tested twice a day and all have been negatives. I’ve had period like cramping for the last 2 days but no bleeding. Does this sound like a chemical pregnancy? I can’t understand how the HCG would drop so suddenly? I also tested on the Monday and had gotten a negative. So it was only positive for just one day. I’m so very confused and frustrated. Suffered a ruptured ectopic and lost a tube 6 months ago and have been trying since then with no luck 😢
