You saved me, yet you don’t know it.

Before you were born, mommy was as unhappy as ever. Mommy was homeless and unsure of her purpose. I didn’t want to be here any longer. Mommy tried to visit heaven sooner than god wanted me. Something in me tells me that’s why he sent me you. He knew you were exactly what i needed. I’ve loved you since you were in my tummy but once you were here and in my arms, it was emotional. I knew my life was about to change. I felt happiness, for once in my life, although i was exhausted from a 20 hour long labor and no sleep but you were entirely worth it. You’re now almost 3 months old and you make me so proud everyday. You are so incredibly advanced and smart for your age. You’ve been holding your own head since the first month, you sit up now, you can hold your own bottle, you even take steps when i hold your arms. And baby girl, you will forever make me proud. I will forever support your decisions and dreams. And when you make poor decisions i won’t punish you but I’ll guide you the right way. You are only human, you will make mistakes, and i will always try to understand you. I’ll be here always to hold your hand, cry with you, and be your best friend. I will help you always to follow your dreams. I will always be by your side. From your first booboo to your first heartbreak. I will be here. Mommy was young when she had you, only 19 years old. But i knew from the day i found out you were growing in me, that you were all i wanted. You gave me a purpose to be here, you gave me happiness and strength.
