My oldest sons father and I are no longer together and we couldn't be happier! He wasn't abusive or a dick...he's a good man we just grew apart. It's hard because it's the father of your child and he always will be which means there will always be something there because together the two of you made something beautiful. But you need to look at your happiness and your child's and figure out what's best. For me if I stayed with my sons father I would've been cooped up going no where with my life...setteling. it didn't benefit anyone involved. With that though..I got out before my son ever saw us as a "family" we mutually broke it off while I was pregnant. Good luck!
