Dr said miscarriage but baby still healthy. Was she being dramatic?

I am 9 weeks and went to the dr yesterday after bleeding the night before (brownish but very light). I just wanted to get checked out. The resident did a cervical exam and said right away polyp and that’s it’s not harmful but within 5 seconds said “no, it’s a tissue and you are in the process of miscarriage”. I have not had any symptoms of miscarriage...still very sore boobs and severe morning sickness (all day), slight cramps here and there and maybe a drop of pink blood once a day. She said she can take the tissue out and give me the pill to terminate the pregnancy or I can choose surgery. My heart told me to double check and so asked her to check the ultrasound. She did and the baby had a strong heartbeat of 177 and was still perfectly growing in the uterus. She still told me I’m having a miscarriage and sent me away saying bed rest will not help. What do you all think? Have you heard of something like this before? This is my second pregnancy...my son is 1.5 years old. I’m still staying on partial bed rest and feeling like I’m pregnant. Was the dr being rude and just dramatic?
