Depends on the situation. If the dad is no longer in the picture it would have my last name. If he is in the picture I guess it depends how i feel. If I love him enough and want to spend the rest of my life with him than I’d probably let the baby have his last name. Idk. Just too many factors for me personally.

Either one. I don’t have an opinion. I’m married but kept my last name. My son has my husband’s name because it sounded better with his first name. There’s a chance if we had another one that it may have my last name. 💁♀️ we’ll see. I know nobody will like this response 😂

Depends on the culture and where you are from. In cases like this i have to know what happened so i can answer? Did the person cheated on you/ betrayed you and that is the reason? Are they unworthy of having their child carry the name or did they in an accident and you want to honor the person? Its hard to answer without given details. However personal preference i would go for the father’s name.

I'm not married but the father and I have been together for 12 years so my baby will have its father's last name. However, if I was alone and the father wasn't in the picture, it would be my last name 😊 Just depends on your situation. Hope this helps x
