First OB ultrasounds with your RE

Kristi

I'm curious to know how other RE offices work for this. My fertility clinic does all the OB ultrasounds during regular morning monitoring hours, which are first come first served between 0700-0745. The 4 REs in the practice rotate weekly doing the scanning, so you always see/ get scanned by an RE but may never necessarily be your primary doctor depending on when your scans are and timing of when they release you (I didn't get that far yet). The one scan I had before my miscarriage was luckily with my primary RE, and it didn't feel too rushed while we were in there. But at the same time, knowing there were potentially a dozen women afteroi me in line, this set up felt impersonal and like the visit wasn't 'my' time like a regularly scheduled appointment might feel, if anyone knows what I mean by that.
