Advice please!!!

I'm 37 weeks 4 days pregnant... My baby is soooo active I mean like really like he's been punching/digging in to me for 3 hours straight with constantly shooting pains down below. Is this normal? It's so uncomfortable how advice he is and my god the pain down there!!!!
