Racing heartbeat?

I'm going to bring it up to the doctor on my next appointment in a few days but today I was giving my daughter a bath and out of nowhere my heart starting beating so hard and fast for atleast 10 mins, I was so scared. I put a little pressure on my heart and it stopped? I'm so scared it'll happen again 😭 has anyone's ever experienced this?

I have! I have no idea what it is though. I always just assume I’m having anxiety

Sounds like an anxiety attack. I've woken up to my heart racing and felt very panicky, its happened a few times now throughout my pregnancy, just happened to me last night actually.

Tachycardia. It could be that. But I would go see a cardiologist and get a EKG done. It’s probably nothing serious but I wouldn’t ignore it.

I read an article that it’s because we have more blood volume. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sometimes I’m just sitting and I can feel my heart beat faster and can feel the extra blood (I might be imagining the blood part) but I would still talk to your doctor about if it worries you.
