Is this normal?

My bf and I will be together 5 1/2 years tomorrow. Sometimes he will to all day not talking to me and just blames it on him being “busy” but I see him on social media. He knows it makes me really upset but if i ask him if he’s ok he gets mad at me bc he says i ask that too much. It really upsets me and makes my anxiety high and he knows and its like he doesn’t care. I know he works but why can’t i just get a good morning or how are you? I send it to him every day.

You're not his priority and  he knows you are t going to leave him so he's going to treat you the way he wants. I say leave

It’s true that you may not always be his absolute #1 but this definitely not healthy in terms of communication and maintenance of a relationship.

bring it up to him because if he really cares, he would at least try and talk to you despite being "busy "

It’s hard to let go after so much time together, but it’s better to let go than to keep wasting your life. I know this might be petty and it might end in a break up, but give him a taste of his own medicine. And his true colors will come out. If you start focusing on yourself and treating yourself then your confidence will go up and he might notice that you are not in his control .
