paint??

what kind of paint or stain would be best to use on this changing table? A close family friend is giving it to us but it's the wrong color so any suggestions??

I would recommend looking into woodshield stains and lullaby paints. They have no VOCs so they’re completely safe 🙂 and also way less stinky than traditional paint or stain.

Only use stain if it's solid wood. You will have to completely sand it down and omg, that will be a job! They make nursery safe paint that should work very well!

I am doing the same but with my baby crib here’s a link of a video that can help you out. Definitely use a voc free paint I suggest a paint and primer type, it will only take two coats to fully cover. Good luck ☺️

something like this would look nice BUT if i were you I'd go to a hardware store and look at there stain samples in the paint area and just look at what they have and pick your favorite good luck update us after it's done can't wait to see the results 👍😀
