My husband wants all the say with the baby name

Its annoying, he wants the baby to have middle name John for his Dad which im fine with as my daughter is named after my late Dad. However, ive come up with a few boy names as first names i like and he shuts them all down... hes picking the middle name should i not atleast get a say in the first name? worst part is one minute he loves the name i suggest, next thinf s week later he hates it
