Any advice?

I'm 16 and I decided to confide in my mom that I had had sex for my first time. When I told her I didn't expect her to be happy, but she told me she was disappointed and that I need to stop now. I haven't stopped, but I always practice safe sex. My mom has almost no trust in me now though. Does anyone have an idea of what I should do now?

Just continue to use protection. And tell her you want Birth control. She'll just have to learn to deal with the new century

If you want to gain her trust back, you need to stop sneaking around behind her back. It took my mom a couple of years to get used to the idea that I was having sex. She's not going to like the idea either way. She's your mom and she loves you and cares about you and just doesn't want to see you throw your future away for boys and sex. It's a great thing that you're using protection, but that isn't always fool proof. That's why your mom is still worried, she doesn't want you to end up in a situation that you may not be ready for.

I told my mom when I was 12... 3 days after I lost it. She was so disappointed in me she didn't know what to say. She said what's done is done & you can't change it...
