Times Up

Carole

I’ve had the skyla iud for almost exactly 2 years now it’s good for 3 years but is there any chance of it starting to get less effective? anyone experience this before? or ask the doctor about this.

i had a coworker who had mirena and her 5 years were up but she got it removed a month or 2 after the “expiration”

i had mirena before but i only made it to 3 of the 5 years before i switched to skyla due to it causing more frequent painful cysts, and i started getting a light period after not having a period for 3 years i was concerned the hormones weren’t working
