37 weeks - upper back pain/cramps/contractions?!

Exactly 37 weeks and im suddenly having upper back cramps/contractions... when they come , im somewhat having a hard time breathing... with my first pregnancy- when i was in labor, i had back contractions, mostly lower....this is the first time i had this during my pregnancy.. anyone else experiencing this?! Is this because the baby’s growing and expanding?! Or pre labor signs?! I have been doing #2 once or twice in a day for almost a week... not sure if that has anything to do with going in labor soon...
