I went to bathroom and noticed my underwear was really wet like I peed myself, (not soaked) but I had a lot of Braxton Hicks last night... I wasn’t sure if it is always a gush. Normally when I pee myself it’s cause of a cough or sneeze and isn’t normally this much...

I had what felt like a period cramp right before it broke. But I had to pee so I didn’t connect the 2... when the fluid came out I thought I had wet the bed 😂 my husband was like no babe that was your water breaking. Then it continued to “break” well after I got to the hospital lol but I noticed white membrane looking stuff coming out too so if you see that it’s probably your water. It also smell like wet puppies lol

I woke up to a wet bed and thought I peed myself. I was 38 weeks so smelt it (that’s what the internet said to do) and it smelt like hay. I was still unsure so just went on with my normal day until I was forced to get checked at L&D; by my nagging mum and sister lol🤷🏼‍♀️ I didn’t leak any more and found out it was my hind waters that had broken.

One of my friends didn't experience a gush. She said hers was slow. Another friend said hers was like the movies. Soaked the bed and she ended up showering before they went to the hospital.
