February Wedding, Valentine's days or not?

We decided, on very short notice, to have a wedding. We want to do it soon, before he joins the army, so probably February. But I have no clue how to choose a day. We could do Valentine's Day, which would be romantic and save us from having 2 romantic holidays in one month in the future, but I also feel like it might be taking away from our anniversary to have it on Valentine's Day. What do you think?

I wouldn't pick Valentine's Day for the following reasons: 
1) in the future if you want to take your anniversary off from work for a quick getaway you will have competition 
2) everywhere is crowded on Valentine's Day 
3) going away for Valentine's Day is more expensive - prices go up for hotels
4) I would prefer to have my own special day instead of sharing it with everyone else
5) if you're planning on inviting people to your wedding they might already have Valentine's Day plans or might not be able to make it on a weeknight
That being said, it is your wedding and you should do what you want to do! If you love the idea of getting married on Valentine's Day then go for it! Congratulations on your engagement and I hope whatever date you pick is perfect for you both ❤

My advice is to not do it. If you ever want to do something nice and special for your anniversary, everything will always be booked and busy because every other couple will be trying to do something romantic. My boyfriend and I don’t do anything crazy for Valentine’s Day. We’ll get a pizza or Chinese takeout and just watch a movie. We do something quaint for Valentine’s Day because it’s not special to us. Maybe you can do something similar and then go all out for your anniversary?

I’m getting married on 5th November - we decided this so in years to come me get fireworks on our anniversary 😂💥 
My parents got married on 4th July (it was also my dads birthday)
