Any moms with infected incision?

Question

Hi ladies, was wondering if anyone has dealt with or is currently going through an infected incision from their c section? 
Nothing is oozing but my incision site is bright red, very warm to the touch, hard and I feel absolutely horrible. The other day I had a fever for a few hours above 100 and chills. I'm almost 3 weeks PP. anyone experience something like this?

Thank you all for all your comments. I appreciate them so much! I definitely have an infection- I'm seeing my doctor asap on Monday however they gave me antibiotics. Now you can see the specific spot where the incision is infected. It's very hard and warm and has a raised bump where it's hardened. Hoping they don't have to drain it and the antibiotics will work...

I had the same symptoms. I went into the OBGYN and they had to drain my incision and gave me a different round of antibiotics. This was at 3 weeks PP. I had been readmitted to the hospital exactly 1 week after my emergency c-section because I had spiked a fever of 103 and the antibiotics they gave me weren’t strong enough. Please get this checked out as soon as possible.

You need to go talk to your OB ASAP. I got lucky and they caught my infection at my 2 weeks pp check up. I wasn’t even aware of the infection yet.

Mine got infected and was so painful. They took me in to reopen my left side of my wound. Gave my antibiotic and had to go in twice a day to the hospital to get it cleaned out and packed, until insurance sent a nurse and approved a wound vac and all material the nurse needed to clean me out. I had to wear the wound back all day for about a month. Not fun at all. Be careful go get it checked out.

I had an infection and that is exactly how mine started, especially with the hardness (which I asked my midwife about but she brushed it off).  2 days later puss was almost pouring out my incision and 2 days after that I ended up back in hospital on IV antibiotics because the oral ones just weren’t touching it. My wound ended up opening all the way back up on the outside and I had to go through almost a month of them trying to decide what to do before they took me back to surgery to fix it.
Now my story is pretty extreme but it shows how bad an infection can get if not caught early and treated, get seen as soon as you can!

I did not have infection with my csection 3 years ago. But thats sounds like an infection or the start of one for sure. Definitely get check out as soon as possible. Even if its not you are better of safe than sorry.
