When do you potty train?

What are the signs that your little one is ready to be potty trained ?

idk the "official" signs but my daughter would NOT leave me alone when I went potty. she would insist on sitting on my lap. so I got her a potty for Christmas. I figured if nothing else she could sit there instead of my lap. she's taken really well to it and we're not in a rush to be completely trained, just taking it slow. she will pee and poop on the potty in the morning more often than not but the rest of the day is really hit or miss. I usually sit her on it after meals bc that's when she tends to poop. I say go for it but definitely don't expect much at this age!

I believe it’s the parents who decide when their child is “ready”. It’s just like anything else we’re teaching our kids. Put them on the potty whenever they look like they have to go, have them get used to the feeling of sitting there. Put them there at the times they normally would poop, right after a meal for example. We started doing this a little before ours turned 1. I can’t picture changing a 2 year olds diaper😳
