Have you ever travel far when you were in your last month of pregnancy?

I just turned 37 weeks and we wanna go to LA which is about almost a 4 hr drive from where we live. As of now I feel okay going in the car. Also I know it’s a long drive but we’ll make sure to take breaks here and there. My hubby helps a lot so I’m very appreciated of that. I just wanted to know if any of you had also gone out when you were at the end of your pregnancy?

I agree. It's up to your ob. If they do let you, I'd take a hospital bag and your records in case you happen to go into labor there.

this is a question for your OB .. its more or less if you go in labor at this point not if your comfortable or not.

I traveled at 38 weeks and flew cross-country to move. My OB was fine with it, but I would suggest asking yours.

I went on an 8 hour trip to my fathers wedding on a July 4th weekend and my daughter was due the end of that month. I mapped out hospitals along the way just in case. Everything went well.

We traveled about 4,5hours when I was 36weeks pregnant. We brought the car seat and hospital bag, and made sure to have the phone number to the hospital closest to where we were. I mentioned it to my midwife and she had no problems with me traveling.

I haven’t travelled at 37 weeks but I will next month when I’ll be 36 weeks and 37 coming back and it will be a 12 hour drive to LA. I Did mention it to my OB and she said it’s fine just to take lots of breaks and she prescribed me with some compression socks, so I won’t get any blood clots on my legs.
