LH surge right after period?

My fiancé and I have been ttc for the past 4 months.. I’ve been on the pill the last 8 years and went off in August. I’ve been keeping track of my periods and predicted ovulation and have been doing the baby dance at least once a day during my “Fertile window”. My cycles have been semi irregular and heavy the past couple of months and I think are finally stabling out this month.

I recently bought a ovulation kit and Pre seed. I’ve been having LH surges the last 3 days and I’m about 6 days after my period..

My question is am I actually ovulating? Or is this just my hormones playing a trick on me?

I know the standard peek time is 14 days into the cycle but could I be a odd ball and have my time a week after my period?

I’ve been using the pre seed and am so ready to see my BFP!
