Helpp! Bv symptoms at 6 weeks

So I started having brown spotting. I’m 6 weeks and ob said I had bv and a yeast infection and that the medication will cause more spotting... well the day after I took it I was in such pain to where I couldn’t move and I felt like I had my period. I passed a clot the size of a quarter and that was it. That was the only day I felt that pain, the bleeding subsided and is now like a light period. What could this be.. I really hope it’s normal.
