Question

Trying to buy some land to build a relatively small house... 1000 sq ft or less. How did you budget? Did you make your own floor plan?
I know this isn't baby, health, or glow related but I'm trying to find some resources

Are you building the house yourself or is a home builder doing it for you? Agree with the other commenter that buying a chunk of land with services already could save you 10-20k

It depends on where you live, construction prices can range across the country from $90/sf to 1000/sf. I’d look for land that has utilities st least to the property line, if not to a place to put a building as not having to run utilities will save you a lot of $$$
