My bf and I have been going through a rough couple of weeks. Fighting more often. I think it’s normal for how long we’ve been dating. 3 months is when the glow starts to come off and things get real.

But he told me the other day, in the middle of a huge fight, that he’s not sure if he loves me any more.

We’re fine now, back to normal. We had dinner, cooked together, went to the zoo. Talked everything out and it seems like things are gonna get better again from here. We have plans for next weekend that he made, and plans for Tuesday that he set. Everything’s normal.

Except he doesn’t say “I love you” any more.

He treats me the same, he acts as amazing as ever, as sweet and caring as ever. He’s making plans for Valentine’s Day, and applying to colleges that I am so we can transfer together.

But he doesn’t tell me he loves me.

I can’t tell if he really doesn’t, and now he’s just acting. Or if he just thinks he doesn’t love me any more because things have gotten rough and that’s tainting things, casting a cloud over it all.

I don’t know. But I’m kinda freaked out by it. If anyone has any advice or could think of anything that may help me to understand, I’d really appreciate it.
