Hi! I am 30 years old and do not want babies at all. It is just not my path. I do have a partner and we have a great sex life so I am considering tubal ligation.

Can anyone relate? Can you share your experiences with me?

I have heard both really scary and positive things but something that particularly worries me is the chance of getting pregnant after surgery. I also fear having a hormonal imbalance as a result of the procedure.

Would love to hear your thoughts but please avoid the “you will regret it”/“life is long and babies are beautiful” approach to commenting. It is really not what I am asking and having kids is absolutely NOT for me. Love them really but I have anxiety attacks and I cannot bear the thought of adding extra pressure into my life!
