Anyone Have Hypothyroidism Experience?

Hi everyone, I suspect I have a problem with my thyroid. I have a three year old and I’ve read that pregnancy and birth can throw your thyroid out of whack. I also consume more salt than I should (contributing to too much iodine). I’ve gained about ten pounds and I’m struggling to lose them. I didn’t really put this together until recently. Did anyone find out they were having a problem with their thyroid that was causing infertility? My LH surge gets dark, but doesn’t get as dark or darker than the test line, so I’m worried that I’m not ovulating. I do have regular periods though. Can anyone who has been through something similar share their experience with me? Thanks in advance!
