Need advice on this one. My boyfriend recently just started graduate school and I am thrilled for him but it has cut into our quality time together. I’m very supportive of him on wanting to get his Masters. I have mine so I know the struggle of working and going to school full time but he lags in responding to text messages, barely calls and we haven’t been out in weeks.

I spoke with him earlier today and asked if he wanted me to step back a bit. (The only reason why I did that is so I wouldn’t be a burden to him) He simply said that was up to me. Though I don’t really want to step back because I care deeply for him and I know this is what he wants, I just don’t know where this relationship is headed. What should I do?
