Do you and your SO celebrate Valentine’s Day!?

I am just curious on how many couples actually celebrate this “Made up day.” I personally do not celebrate with my husband, never have either. I don’t need a holiday to show my husband how much I love him or he loves me. We give each other gifts and what not all the time! Don’t get me wrong I love the holiday just for the hearts and THE CHOCOLATES! Lol but other then that I can careless about it. Plus, I hate the girls that show out on social media’s and putting hashtags “couple goals” in my head I’m like “he was just with some other trick last week” 😂😂😂

I love Valentine's day. I always celebrate it with the hubby and our daughter. we usually get our daughter a large stuffed animal or some chocolate roses and cute things. We mostly celebrate it for her but give each other chocolates as well

I usually do something cute for my son and cook like heart shaped pancakes for him and my hubby. This year my kiddo is 2 and loves cars so I got him a big stuffed Lightning McQueen. 
As for us, if we are lucky, we get my MIL to babysit and go out to eat (never on the actual day though...WAY too crowded) and then hit our favorite brewery. :) 
This year, in lieu of the brewery we are going to find out our second baby’s gender in secret. 😍🙌 Im so psyched.

Sort of. We use the day to just spend one on one time with each other. We don’t buy anything. We’ll make dinner, eat it, and watch a movie and just enjoy each other’s company.

We don't do presents and avoid going out. We might a fee days before or after go to the local chocolate place and get high quality chocolates and eat them together but we usually go camping and cook on the open flames. This year we are driving 3 hours away and getting a airbnb and have a romantic meal together and explore the historic town. We can go out anytime.. The idea of a set menu and crowded restaurants does not do anything for us. We rather get away and just be together.

I see nothing wrong with celebrating 🤷🏽‍♀️ we always go out to dinner. It’s hard sometimes to make a good case for a fancy night out when we are both constantly working. It’s nice to have that day that reminds you to do something special just for you two.
I actually watched a girl be totally stank to her date last Valentine’s Day at a really nice restaurant in the city (at least a $300+ meal for a couple) saying to him “I don’t understand why you needed this holiday to take me out to a nice restaurant.” She poured through the entire meal with her arms crossed. It was so painful. I felt like telling that dude to run so fast lol
