Marginal cord insertion ?

Question

So I'm 32weeks and my OB was non chalantly talking to me and mentions another ultrasound at 36wks ( to keep an eye on things ). Then says for the marginal cord . Im like what is that ? And then my OB was like oh we've been keeping an eye on it seems like baby's growth is okay for now though. 
Well i guess marginal cord insertion is when the cord is grown off to the side of placenta instead of in the center . Which when you (google it) worst idea ever it will give you a heart attack ! 
Complications such as ... 
Pre term birth 
Low birth weight 
may include excessive hemorrhage during childbirth and decreased blood supply to the fetus, which may affect fetal growth and development
outcome is generally good in a majority of cases. However, complications can develop which may be avoided through an elective C-section delivery
If the marginal insertion is present in the cervical outlet of the uterus, they may rupture during early labor. This can result in stillbirth. This condition is known as vasa previa
So now I'm extra worried ! 
They acted so casual in office 
When i wasn't even aware ..
Do any of you ladies have this ? 
Or have you ? 
Was child birth okay? 
Did you have to have a c-section ?

I had this with my second pregnancy and again with this pregnancy (currently 31 weeks). I get ultrasounds once a month. Absolutely no complications last time during labor. He came 8 days early on his own and was over 6 pounds. No c section required!

I had my ultrasound today, baby and belly are measuring small due to the marginal cord she isn’t getting enough nutrients. Twice weekly NST and another ultrasound in 3 weeks... NST today baby’s heart as dipping with contractions. Also I’ve been sick all day, so this is NOT helping baby grow, gona try to keep something down so then I can try to eat more and help her grow. ☹️

👀👀👀 wow.. My docs seems so casual when saying it too so I never thought to ask what it was..... One of my babies had it for the longest then 2 weeks ago the tech said it was no longer marginal ..... So it can change if that helps any.

Basically the same thing happened to me at my appt last week. So I have a scan next week to check on it..... not sure what to think or ask doctor about it 🤔

Battledore placenta. I’ve got one too. They’re just doing ultrasounds every week for the last 5 weeks. My midwife was not concerned. She said she’s never had any complications from this in the 25+ years she’s been doing this and that most women don’t even know until after they birth the placenta. I did not google it. I’m not getting an elective csection. Just going with the flow.

Same thing happened to me during my growth scan at 16 weeks. I had another scan about 4 weeks later and it worked itself out. Try not to stress so much about it, I know, a lot easier said then done. Good luck!
