The past few months my periods have been just brown, old blood with barely anything red. Well, I started my period Saturday after cramping two days ahead of time. I had red blood again finally, but it’s really heavy. I mean, clots the size of coin dollar. I’m cramping exceptionally bad in my lower abdomen, particularly centralized in my lower right abdomen. I’ve been taking pain meds nonstop and was even bedridden yesterday because the cramps were too bad to walk. It started again a few minutes ago so I took some more Tylenol and have a heating pad on that right side. The pain is just worse than what I’ve experienced and I mean it is PAINFUL and used to be in my back, but has moved to my abdomen. My flow is also extremely heavy compared to past periods. What would cause this change? My BC hasn’t changed and neither has my diet. Should I make an appointment at my college’s health center? Important info: I have PCOS
