TTC but confused

So, feeling really down. For New Years I thought I was pregnant and my husband wanted to let his family know but I wasn’t sure he did anyways and everyone got so happy. I just figured okay I’m not on birth control anymore and I’m pretty sure I am or will be soon. I got my nexplanon removed Dec 15th 2017 and it’s been over a month and I been getting negative results I been scared to tell my husband because he is so excited about it until today I told him I wasn’t I texted negative he got really upset and won’t talk to me because of how upset and says he feels stupid for letting everyone know when I really am not idk what to do idk why I haven’t gotten pregnant and I been having some symptoms so I don’t understand what’s going on
