Creamy CM - before or after ovulation?

Trying to figure out if I ovulated early this month.

We had intercourse last week and over the weekend and my husband commented how wet I was.... opk ordered on amazon arrived late so only started testing on Sunday afternoon and showing negative since. Period is over 2 weeks away - CM is now turned creamy/lotion very weird at this stage in my cycle as I would expect that closer to AF??
