new hairstyle for really long, thick hair?

Question

My hair is super long and thick and basically has no shape to it. I want to change it up soon but not sure what kind of style to get? I want to keep most of the length and thin it out but I don't know how it will look since my hair is all one length. (I want some shape around my face especially because it all just sort of hangs there lol)

If you want shape around your face you could think of layering the hair around your face or for instance a long frail. A friend of mine has long hair and she's recently been to the hairdress3r because she kind of wanted the same as you. Her hair was all one length and didn't have much shape. the hairdresser cut the front hairs shorter and gradually let it flow into her lengths, the hairdresser also layered the lengths of the rest of her hair (long layers). It's not a drastic haircut and her hair was still long although slighty shorter but it really gave a nice volume and shape to her coupe :)
