Babies that arrived after their “due date”! What’s your story?

So i️m currently 40+1 waiting for our lil girl to make her debut appearance. 
im super curious to hear other moms stories of how they went into labor/ how they felt when having their lil ones after their due date. 
- How far after your due date did you have your babe?
- How did labor start? Water break? Contractions? Induction? 
- What did you feel prior to your babe coming? Did you have contractions for weeks? or did they start out of nowhere? 
I had some contractions 2 days ago, that were pretty regular and consistent but weren’t strong enough to help me progress:( currently 3-4 cm fully effaced. 
Keep loosing pink mucus discharge, but I don’t feel any contractions, and I just have pressure and back ache.

Hey I’m 40 Weeks Exactly today but I gone over due date twice before haha my water never broke with both! Actually both born on Monday haha and night before I had very big back pain than around 12 contractions mild was coming every 15min than whole day was coming more and more than when they was 3 min apart at 11pm I went hospital 😂 I nearly gave birth in taxi . After I arrived I was 10cm and start pushing 2 times and hes out ! Both similar story and both absolutely naturally :) first was 41.0 weeks and Secound 40.3 :) good luck!!!

With my 2nd baby I went to 42wks. The day I was too be induced they told me to call before I went in. I called and they said they was full land I had to wait. So I had sex and contractions started and I went in anyway.

I went into labour 2 days past due. 
It started in the morning but I didn’t realize I was in labour until late in the day. It was basically Braxton Hicks feeling contractions all day. I had lost my mucous plug a little he night before and at my check on my due date I was not dilated at all and my cervix was still high. Around 6pm the contractions started to get painful but I spent the day shovelling snow lol so I think that helped move things along. I felt totally normal up until the point they got painful. 
They weren’t terrible just noticeable. I spent the evening squatting in the bath tub until my contractions were 2 minutes apart. I wanted to labour at home as long as I could and my hubby had to convince me to head to the hospital. At this point it was about 10/11pm. We got to the hospital and I was still able to talk through my contractions and function. I was admitted and they checked me, 5cm. I thought booyah - I can do this! Then the transition contractions started lol, OW is all I can say.
My water broke about half an hour after we got to the hospital. They just got me changed into what I was going to birth in and BOOM water broken. That was the weirdest thing ever. My contractions were now on top of each other and I was certain I was going to die right there on that bed. Turns out my baby was posterior and because my contractions were on top of each other there was no relaxing enough to let her come down anymore. This is when I was told I should get an epidural. Magical. It’s now the next day around 6/7am. Epidural worked magic and I was able to relax so she could descend. At 830 I was 10cm and around 9am we started to push. 
10:01am (3 days past due now) we had our baby girl. 2 small stitches and no interventions needed. She just turned one.
