Stage 2 car seat recommendations?

Looking for stage 2 car seat recommendations. Interested in the Diono car seats but not sure if they are worth the $$$.

We have the 4ever and the Graco Contender. I’ve heard really good things of the Diono. Right now, at 15 months I actually like the contender over the 4ever because my son can reach the cupholders. He can’t yet in the 4ever. I know that wont last long though 😆

We have a Diono Pacifica and I love it. It does have a wide angle when installed, but they make seat adjusters so it's no so bad for bad for the passenger or driver.

My friend has the Diono and she loves it because it fits in the small backseat of her BMW. Most other convertible car seats take up a ton of space. We have the Nuna Rava and love it, but it takes up quite a bit of space too. My mom is always hauling grandkids, and both her and my sister have a Graco 4ever and they love them. My mom says it’s very easy to get it in an out, but it is quite bulky.

I personally love my Diono seats. My oldest son is 5.5 and still rides harnessed in his. They tend to last a long time and are easy to install. If you look for them on sale, you can usually find one for around $200.

I have 2 Graco Size4Me and I love them! I previously had 2 and we were in a very serious car accident, rear ended by a drunk driver going 60mph while we were stopped at a red light and my kids didn’t even have a scratch. Can’t recommend them enough!
