I'm 16 and really scared. Any suggestions?

I'm 16 and have just found out I am pregnant. I was on the contraceptive pill but I didn't work. The doctor said I did everything right. Me and my boyfriend have decided to keep it and our families are very supportive.  I know i am very young but i feel I can do it. But my only problem is that I am absolutely terrified.  Any suggestions?

You sound really mature for 16 it doesnt matter what age you are you can be a good mum at any age you will get the judgemental comments because of your age but dont worry about them all you can do is do what is best for your baby take all the help and advice off anyone this site is very good for helping you ask your mum and dad for advice everyone is scared about becoming a mum for the first time specialy younger mums your midwife will help you to they will give you so much information it will help you congratulations and good luck through out your pregnancy x

Don't stress c: i believe everything works out for the best, get lots of rest and drink a lot of water. Start trying to figure out ideas but don't rush into it. Take every day one by one. It will be alright.

I am 16 to, my family is supportive and so is his. We are scared but I just know that is there every questions or times when things get stressful I know our families will be right there to help us and teach us.

You tou and you boyfriend agree and you have the support of friends and family you will be just fine. Feeling scared is normal. I am 29 years old with my husband for 9 years (1 1/2 married) and this baby was 100% planned but there are times where i panick :) just make sure you truely appreciate everything your families do for you and never take it for granted. That is why most teen parents get a bad name because their families help them out and they just take advantage and mooch. Good luck :)

You are about the smartest pregnant 16 I've ever heard. You'll be a great mom! I'm 18, my fiancé is 24. I graduated high school and he's graduating college soon. It's a scary thing. Even though ours was planned, it's scary. It's scary for all of us. Good luck!

First of all, bravo to you for deciding to save the baby's life and not have an abortion! I know it seems scary. I'm 32 years old having my first baby, and I'm also scared. But, with your family and friends' support, you can definitely do it. If you don't know whether you can raise the baby, and your future seems unclear, I would recommend thinking about adoption. My neice was born to my teenaged brother and his teenaged girlfriend. They have been able to work things out and my niece is growing up just fine! ☺️
