Nipple stimulation to start labor?

39 weeks pregnant and doctor won’t induce me until after 41 weeks. Gave up on the castor oil idea because of all the negative comments about it but has anyone tried nipple stimulation? Has it worked for anyone previously??

Nipple stimulation gives me contractions while it’s happening then they stop when I stopped. I used my pump

im 38 weeks .   ive tried nipple stimulation . pineapple . pineapple juice . raspberry leaf tea . sex . walking . bouncing on a gym ball . spicy food . . nothing is working . hes been engaged for atleast a week . i dont want to try castor oil or evening primros because of the bad feedback ive heard and side affects

Try clary sage oil.. apparently it’s sworn by to bring on labour, I haven’t tried it yet personally though.
I’ve just had a midwife round and she has said it is really good

I did nipple stimulation but the contractions don’t last, literally I had the 511 got too hospital, monitored for an hour n they died down,
