Ftm. Fit pregnancy. Easy-ish birth:)

Alyssa

We went early and had no clue we were going to.

36 weeks and 6 days woke up and my water broke. I immediately freaked out.

Got to the hospital and contractions were mild but since water was broken they needed to speed things along. Cue the pitocin. If you have good nurses, they will work with you on pitocin level. Yes, they need the baby out but they can work you up through the ranges, don’t fear it if you hear the word!

Had about 3 hours of really hard contractions, did nitrous through that then they got to the point where I was a seven dilation and I couldn’t speak, so I asked for the epidural. It’s not that bad, promise. Then I was good for about an hour, had my twitches and convulsions that are toteally normal but scared my husband, I felt an insane pressure, called the nurse and was fully complete:)

Pushed about ten times, had a second degree tear and couldn’t care less.

I spent my whole life afraid of pregnancy and labor and I pray this helps someone in the same boat.

You can do this andnwjej you are in the moment it’s not so bad
