Anyone have tooth pain while pregnant? 👨🏻‍⚕️🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m 28 weeks pregnant and I think my wisdom tooth is coming out! Argh I know 🤦🏼‍♀️ kill me now perfect timing.. I’m in pain and also my throat is hurting and swollen..
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow not sure what to expect?
Anyone been through this before?

i thought i was having tooth pain but it was a sinus infection! i would definitely check that since your throat is hurting!

I’m a dental hygienist, you poor thing! Wisdom teeth can be extremely annoying and they love to flare up. Every dentist has a different routine but personally when I’m seeing a patient who is complaining of wisdom tooth pain I’ll have a look at the and the position of the wisdom tooth check for visible decay or abscess. If I think it’s simply a gum infection I’ll usually flush it the it out with a antiseptic rinses. If I suspect there could be more going on I’ll take an X-Ray they are completely safe in pregnancy if needed, they are very minimal radiation about the equivalent to 20 minutes on airplane and I always use a lead coat for extra protection.
