Move out? advice

Been living n a dump house that we don't have to pay rent for having my 3rd baby n may the dump house is pretty much a studio no privacy been here 3 years we agreed on our taxes go towards a better home before baby is born but since my daughter's dad claimed her for taxes this year I'm getting less than a thousand back. Let my bf claim our son n since I'm getting shit back apparently a CAR is more important then a safer home for the kids. What would you do in my situation? Move out and live back in with my mom? By the way also chooses dogs over kids
