False Positive ?

Back story I was with an older man 2 years ago we only lasted a couple of weeks in those couple of weeks we had sex. ( bad I know ) anyways I would get messages from girls even boys saying he had an std . I told him about it & he said he had it when he was 18 ( he's now 26 ) and he took pills for it and it cleared up. I was still effy about it , than suddenly I got a bad uti and it was confirmed a uti not a std. After that about 2 days later we went to get checked for all kinds of STDs , we both came out negative for all of them. Now fast forward to now. I'm now pregnant with my current boyfriend and they checked me for STDs at the obgyn and surprise surprise I came out positive for chlamydia . I know my current boyfriend didn't have it as he gets checked every year. When the doctor explain to me that I came out positive she explained about false positives , I was sad and out of words so I didn't ask her any questions I just agreed on taking the pills. They prescribed me and my boyfriend 2pills for us each to take , we took them . They re tested for it and I came out negative. What exactly you think happened here? was this a possible false positive ? BTW I've read a lot of false positives for Chlamydia specifically! weird. I know. I'm scared that I actually did have it and it was dormant and it will came back ? cause I've read that could happen something about it living in your gut and you can randomly get reinfected. I'm stressing about this. :(
