Depends on if you need reasonable accommodations or not. I missed a lot of work in my first tri due to hg and wish I had told them sooner, rather than have them think I’m just a lazy employee.

It depends on your job. If you have to do a lot of moving or heavy lifting tell them now. If it’s a job where you just sit or stand and don’t do anything crazy you could wait longer

I would wait till you're safely in your second trimester but if you've been working there awhile I guess there's no problem in telling him now
