The one that got away

So just found out that the guy friend I had a huge crush on ( and was close friends with) but have since lost touch with ( its hard to stay friends when his girlfriend wants to be best friends and your jealous he’s not dating you.) Got engaged last week. Four years ago people were asking us if we were dating. ( but he was always quick to reply that we were just friends) Now he’s engaged to a girl he’s been dating for a year , and she’s the best friend of a friend of mine. Trying to be happy for them, as I always knew he never liked me as more than a friend but I miss having him as a friend ( we haven’t talked in a little under a year and haven’t been friends for the past 2 years).
